This slim-line vase has been sculpted by hand by a group of villagers in Lombok, Indonesia. This is the middle size of the Ombre vase range that we carry. Created from terracotta, the graduated ombre paint finish is achieved using fingers and homemade combs. The drying process remains as it was 100 years ago: the vase is dried in a low-heat, open-air kiln, using coconut husks as fuel.
Note: As terracotta is not 100% waterproof, we recommend that these vases as designed for decoration only, as they may not be suitable for heavy water usage.
