An oversized vase designed for lovely long foliage, or as an umbrella holder.
Sculpted by hand in Lombok, Indonesia, this large vessel is created from terracotta, one of the world's oldest sculpting materials. Layers of paint are applied over many days before handmade combs are used to create the decorative motifs. The drying process remains as it was 100 years ago: the vase is dried in a low-heat, open-air kiln, using coconut husks as fuel.
Note: As terracotta is not 100% waterproof, this vase are best used for decoration rather than water usage.
