RETURNS

We Do Not Accept Returns for Change of Mind

Please choose carefully as we do not accept returns for change of mind. We do not offer refunds if you change your mind.  This includes situations where you  have ordered too many items, or chose something that isn't the right size or shape, or where it does not fit into your room or through the accessway.  It is your responsibility to check the measurements to ensure the selected item is appropriate.

In our sole discretion we may agree to an exchange to an alternative Corcovado product if we have a suitable alternative in stock, and you have notified us within 5 days of receipt of your purchase to request an exchange. This is at our sole discretion. Additional fees such as a restocking fee, and delivery fees for any alternative item may apply. 

FAULTY PRODUCTS OR INCORRECT PRODUCT SENT

If you believe there is damage to the product you have ordered, or the incorrect item has been delivered, please get in touch with us as soon as possible and we will work with you to arrange a replacement or credit. Damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Please email us at hello@corcovado.co.nz and submit photos, your order reference and further details so we can assess your claim and confirm the next steps. 

Please retain all original packaging.

If the item received is damaged, defective or incorrect, we will cover the costs of sending an alternative like-product to you if you prefer to exchange.

DELIVERY

FURNITURE, HOMEWARES AND LIGHTING

Shipping charges for furniture, homewares and lighting are displayed per product, under the "Shipping and Returns" dropdown on the product description online.

Note: the freight fee is based on a single item added to your cart. Adding multiple items may increase the shipping fee.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A RURAL DELIVERY ADDRESS, EXTRA DELIVERY CHARGES WILL APPLY.  WE WILL CONTACT YOU WITH THE FINAL DELIVERY FEE ONCE WE HAVE THE FREIGHT COMPANY QUOTE.

Delivery Timeline & Process

We use a range of trusted couriers and specialist freight forwarders for our New Zealand orders.  

Please note:

  • We cannot deliver to a PO Box address.
  • Rural Delivery (RD) addresses will be charged at the actual courier or freight price to send to that address, so extra delivery fees will apply. 
  • A delivery address cannot be changed once we have dispatched your items. 
  • We will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver an item due to incorrect address information.

We will contact you once your order is prepared and ready to be dispatched, to confirm the delivery timeline. If you wish to collect your order, we will advise you by email or text / phone once your order is ready for collection. 

Delivery times will depend on the item(s) ordered, your location and sometimes the weather.  Long weekends, and busy holiday periods can also impact delivery timeframes.  However from our experience most deliveries will occur within 5-7 working days of collection by our freight partners from our warehouses. 

Deliveries occur Monday - Friday.

We have a hardworking dispatch, delivery and fulfilment team located in our Auckland and Christchurch warehouses.  Our team will call or email you regarding your order and the best time to schedule delivery for you, if it is a larger item.

Click and Collect

Click and collect will only be shown as a shipping method if you live in Auckland or Canterbury. You can then opt to collect from the store, rather than delivery to your home.

Transfer Fees May Apply

IMPORTANT: If we do not have your selected item in stock in the location you wish to collect from (i.e. you want to collect from Christchurch but the item is only in stock in Auckland, or vice versa), then a freight fee to transfer that item from one location to the other (i.e. from our North or South Island warehouse) will apply. 

If this situation occurs, we will contact you after your purchase to confirm the freight fee. Transfer fees range from $19 for smaller items to $250 for a sofa (i.e. it depends on the size of the item required). 

ln Store Purchases

If an item is in stock, and in store, you can purchase directly in our store. 

Not all of our products are in both stores all of the time. We can arrange to have an item sent from another location for a transfer fee of usually $19 - $139, depending on the size of the item required.
