Welcome to www.corcovado.co.nz, a website owned and operated by Latitude South NZ Limited, a limited liability company registered in New Zealand under company number 1497478. We operate our business from Christchurch, New Zealand.

In all of our website policies, the terms “Corcovado”, “we”, “our” and “us” means Latitude South NZ Limited, trading as Corcovado. The terms “you”, “your” and “yours” means you, as a user of our website.

Use of the Website

It is important that you read these Terms & Conditions carefully before ordering any homewares, furniture or other products (collectively referred to as “Products”) from our website. These Terms & Conditions, together with our Returns & Exchanges Policy, our Privacy Policy and any other policy we create from time to time (collectively, our “Terms”), govern our relationship with you in relation to your purchase of any Product from our website.

By placing an order for any Product through our website you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must cease using this website.

Website Availability

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on this website, or close it indefinitely. We will not be liable if all or any part of our website is unavailable at any time.

Your Status & Eligibility to Purchase

By placing an order through our website, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and that you are at least 18 years old. To make purchases through our website, you will be requested to provide certain personal information. You agree to provide your real name, phone number, billing address, e-mail address and any other personal information we may reasonably require. You represent and warrant that the payment details you provide are both valid and correct. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we treat your personal information.

Product Descriptions

We have made every effort to ensure the correctness of all details, photographs and descriptions relating to all Products on our website. We do our best to display, as accurately as possible, the relevant colour, materials and dimensions of each Product.

However, the actual colours you see will depend on your computer monitor and browser and therefore we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any Product image is a completely accurate representation of the actual Product.

Please note the measurements provided to understand the scale of each Product. We do our best to ensure the accuracy of our measurements, but they are given as close approximates only. 

Product Availability

All orders are subject to availability of the Product(s) selected. Our website will state if a Product is currently in stock or available on a pre-order basis. If applicable, approximate production and/or delivery times will also be specified. Please check this information carefully prior to ordering.

Please note that there may be a delay between the time you place an order and when we accept your order, which may result in a change to the stock position relating to particular Products. We will notify you as soon as possible if a Product you have ordered becomes out of stock.

Product Warranty

We warrant our furniture and homewares for 2 years from the date of purchase, fair wear and tear excluded. The product must be used as intended, as per our product descriptions.

Our NZ made dining tables and NZ made Sofas come with a 10 year manufacturers warranty from the date of receipt, with a 2 year warranty on fabric upholstery (provided no aftercare application has been used on the fabric). 

Returns Policy

We Do Not Accept Returns for Change of Mind

Please choose carefully as we do not accept returns for change of mind. We do not offer refunds if you change your mind. This includes situations where you have ordered too many items, or chose something that isn't the right size or shape, or the purchased item does not fit into your room, or through the accessway. It is your responsibility to check the measurements to ensure the selected item is appropriate.

In our sole discretion we may agree to an exchange to an alternative Corcovado product if we have a suitable alternative in stock, and you have notified us within 5 days of receipt of your purchase to request an exchange. This is at our sole discretion. Additional fees such as a restocking fee, and delivery fees for any alternative item may apply. 

Subscription Sign-Up 

If you sign up to our newsletter (by providing your email address on any page of our website or via email, phone or otherwise), we will treat your personal information confidentially and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Special offers, promotions or discounts

From time to time we may make an offer to new or current newsletter subscribers (and those who have otherwise signed up to our database). These offers may include a percentage off a certain product or product category (or based on volume), a "spend and save" promotion, or some other incentive. If a customer chooses to take up one of these offers, then that offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Sofas, Custom Items and Pre-Orders Excluded from Special Offers or Discounts

From time to time we may offer new subscribers an incentive to join our newsletter, or we may offer a special deal or online promotion to current subscribers (including, for example, a percentage off a first or subsequent purchase, or a sales promotion).  Any discount or incentive offer extended EXCLUDES sofas, customised items, or items that have been pre-ordered on behalf of the customer, none of which can be discounted in any situation. This term over-rides any other term in these Terms and Conditions or any other page on our website, including the checkout page.

Order Process

Once you have selected the Product(s) you wish to purchase, please proceed to our online checkout page. You will be invited to register with us, or login if you have previously registered on our website. You may choose to check out as a guest rather than register an account with us.

Our registration process requires you to provide information about yourself that is true, accurate, current and complete. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we treat your personal data. By registering, you agree to keep secure and confidential all usernames and passwords required to access our website.

Please check your personal information (including email address and your delivery address) carefully, as we cannot be held responsible if you enter incorrect details which may result in you not receiving your order.

When you place an order, your order constitutes an offer to buy a Product from us, which is subject to our acceptance. If accepted by us, you will receive an email confirming your order. We reserve the right not to accept your order if certain events occur, for example, we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, a Product is out of stock or withdrawn, there is a system malfunction, shipping restrictions apply to a particular Product or you do not meet our eligibility criteria as set out in these Terms.

Note that if you have purchased furniture or a bulky or oversized item, the freight rate will be noted at checkout, unless you have opted to "click and collect" if you live in Auckland or Christchurch (where our showrooms are located). If you choose to "click and collect" please note that transfer charges will apply if the item you have chosen is not in the stated location you wish to collect from. We will advise you of the transfer fee in our email follow up to you post-purchase.

For larger items like sofas and dining tables additional freight charges are likely to apply. If so, the shipping fee will be stated as 0.01. We will liaise with you to offer the best, and safest, delivery quote we can. Please refer to our Delivery page for more information. 

Acceptance by us of your order will take place when your order is dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched it cannot be changed or cancelled.


All prices are shown on our website in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of 15% goods and services tax (GST).

Although we make every effort to ensure that the prices stated on our website are correct, sometimes mistakes can occur. If we discover a pricing mistake prior to dispatching a Product, we will contact you to offer you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order.

We reserve the right to change the price of any of our Products from time to time. Please carefully check the pricing information provided on our website to confirm the current price of any Product.

Payment Methods

Credit Card

Most credit cards are accepted.

Payment for all Products can be made by credit card. We use the DPS Payment Express Windcave Payment Gateway for our online credit card transactions. Payments are processed in real time. DPS have bank grade security and process online credit card transactions securely for thousands of merchants around the globe. If you wish to know more please visit www.windcave.com.

If you pay for a Product using a payment card with a foreign currency denominated account, the account will still be taken in New Zealand Dollars at the conversion rate applied by your payment card company at the time of processing your order.

Shop Pay

As we use Shopify as our platform, Shop Pay is also accepted, which is an accelerated checkout you can use if you have previously saved your email address, credit card, shipping and billing information. 

Bank Deposit

For our New Zealand-based customers, payment may also be made by bank deposit to our nominated account. If you wish to use this option, please contact us on  0800 212 252, (09) 360 0080 or hello@corcovado.co.nz and we will assist you to complete your purchase.

Changing Your Order Before Dispatch

If, for any reason, you wish to change an order before the Product has been dispatched, please contact us on (09) 360 0080. Note, however, that once a Product has been dispatched it cannot be changed unless we agree to an exchange in our sole discretion.

Please note all items that are sold at a SALE price are final and cannot be cancelled.

Shipping & Delivery

Please note that the price of any Product stated on our website excludes delivery costs, which are noted in the dropdown menu under the Product description under the heading "Shipping and Returns". The stated delivery fees are added to the total amount due at the final checkout page.


We work closely with a range of trusted couriers and specialist furniture providers and have established preferred supplier relationships allowing us to access competitive rates to pass on to you.

Corcovado owns, solely and exclusively, all rights, title and interest in and to the website www.corcovado.co.nz. This website and all of its content including data, photographs, illustrations, graphics, video, software, code, design, organisation of the website and materials compilation on the website (collectively referred to as “Content”) are protected by New Zealand and international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.

Corcovado (or its licensors) own, solely and exclusively, all rights, title and interest in and to the Content, including, but not limited to, all intellectual property and proprietary rights. Your use of the website and/or the Content does not grant to you any ownership of, or title to, the website or any Content.

The Corcovado logo, brand and product names and all other logos, brand, product and service names used on this website or in connection with the Content are the registered and unregistered trademarks, trade names or service marks of Corcovado (or its licensors), unless otherwise stated. Nothing contained in these Terms shall be construed as conferring any licence or right to use any Corcovado logo, proprietary graphic or trademark, or any other logos, proprietary graphic or trademark present on our website without our prior written consent. All rights are fully reserved and all moral rights are asserted and reserved.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, publish, display, transmit, adapt or in any way exploit the Content of this website or use any of the information, materials, services, products or items on our website for commercial exploitation or to create derivative works of such materials or Content. Any unauthorised use of this website may be a criminal offence giving rise to a claim for damages.

When you access and use our website, you must not:

If the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies, you may have rights or remedies which are not excluded nor limited by the above statements. We also reserve the right to amend, vary or remove any Product or other information, services, material or any page of this website at any time and without notice. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
