Designed by Corcovado, this bar stool is inspired by our travels to Mozambique in Africa, and the leather work encountered there on battered, old leather safari chairs and bench seats.
Intentionally generous in proportion, we wanted these bar stools to offer both function and form. The seat height is 65cm high, so its perfect for kitchen islands.
We have used black leather here, wrapped around a teak wood frame. We created many iterations of this bar stool during our sampling progress to ensure we had the gentle curves of the wood on the back support just right, so that it is both comfortable and supportive.
All our wood is sustainably sourced from government certified plantations in Indonesia - we have worked with the artisans that hand-make our products for over 10 years.
Currently available in black and olive leather.
